Jay Norman’s broad experience and deep understanding of real estate and finance continually prove to be invaluable to clients with the most complex needs.  National and regional corporations and institutions turn to him as a definitive source of knowledge and counsel on Virginia real estate and land use.

A native of the region and son of company founder John Norman, Jay initiated the expansion of the company’s services to include leasing, investment sales, and the brokerage of properties with special ecological, environmental, historic or public values.  These services complement the long-respected capabilities in land and industrial sales.  A Norman Realty Broker since 1989 and President since 2001, he has led the company through transforming markets while also founding and growing the firms affiliate conservation firm, BlueLine Conservation Incentives.

Jay’s position in the local business community affords him an audience with and client list which includes major players in the region’s marketplace.  He has served on the boards of Northern Virginia NAIOP (life member), The Fauquier Bank, Utron, Inc. and is former Chairman of the George Mason University Foundation.  A graduate of Davidson College (BA economics), he lives in Fauquier County, Virginia.
